📚 Education is light — but it cannot shine without collective effort.

My name is Joachim Charitable, founder of ECOH ÉTOILE, a grassroots school born from compassion, created to serve Haiti’s most vulnerable children — those who would have no access to education otherwise.

ECOH ÉTOILE welcomes 3 categories of at-risk children:

1. Homeless children living on the streets, without shelter or family
2. Deported children returning from other countries (mainly the Dominican Republic), often with no support
3. Internally displaced children fleeing gang violence in Port-au-Prince and other high-risk zones

For the past 7 years, this school has operated without any government aid or regular international support. We have reached the limits of our capacity — but never the limits of our hope. These children deserve a future built on knowledge, dignity, and opportunity.

🎯 We are urgently seeking support to:

• Pay committed teachers who work with heart and resilience
• Find sponsors/godparents for students to cover meals, supplies, and tuition
